ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

  1. Information service (web based, face to Face, telephone, email)

  2. Delivering training tailored to identify needs of local groups

  3. Supporting organisation with PQASSO and Quality First quality assurance systems

  4. Access to computers for funding research & access to funding software

  5. Networking opportunities through community lunches and suppers

  6. Signposting to support and training for literacy, numeracy and language needs

  7. Advice and support to ensure that groups implement good practice and connections to already established groups in the area

  8. Supporting new and emerging groups to get started - developing constitutions, charity registration, developing policies and procedures etc.

  9. Affordable black & white and colour photocopying and other office resources fax, binder, laminator etc.

  10. Loan library of books and other resources ¯borrow books, relax and read information.

  11. Literature and leaflets pick up useful information at your leisure

  12. Signposting organisations to training designed for staff, volunteers or board members of a not for profit organisation.


FUNDRAISING

  1. Access to funder finder and grant finder software

  2. Access to Internet

  3. Access to books to find funding sources

  4. Support to groups with small funding applications

  5. Links to other agencies who can support groups with funding applications such as The External Funding Unit

  6. Signposting to training related to fundraising skills

  7. Regular updates of funding opportunities


NETWORKING AND INFORMATION SHARING

  1. Information sharing activities such as community lunches and suppers and social events

  2. Targeted information via e-mail distribution groups

  3. Supporting the development of a wide range of networks in the south west area of Birmingham

  4. Sharing resources and expertise within networks

  5. Sharing of good practice with our client base

  6. Signposting and promoting relevant training to clients

  7. Signpost voluntary and community organisation to information and advice available on the six national ‘change up’ hubs of expertise.

  8. Bi-monthly newsletter available to all clients
